The 3 Valleys is the world’s largest interconnected ski area, with more than 600 km of pistes linking seven resorts across three valleys. It’s a brilliant place to spend a season, with loads of terrain, plenty of variety, and a proper buzz all winter long.
Courchevel is known for its high-end feel and beautifully groomed pistes. It’s a great riding area with big, open runs.
Méribel is the heart of the 3 Valleys. It’s also where you’ll find European Pubs head office, Jacks Méribel, Copiña and Hotel Grangettes.
Les Menuires sits in the Belleville valley and links directly to Val Thorens, the highest ski resort in Europe. It’s snow-sure, has a long season, and is home to Jacks Les Menuires.
The 2 Resorts we’re in
Méribel
Méribel attracts a mix of British guests, French families and school holiday visitors. We split it into two main areas: the daytime centre, La Chaudanne, and the nighttime centre a little further up the road.
La Chaudanne is where the main ski lifts and ski school meeting points are, so it stays busy all day. That’s also where you’ll find Jacks Méribel and Hotel Grangettes, which means plenty of footfall and a really strong location.
The nighttime centre is around 200 metres up the road. It’s where many of the bars, restaurants, apartments and hotels are, and it’s also where Copiña is located. It’s a great spot for evening trade and resort life.
Les menuires
Les Menuires is an up-and-coming resort that’s popular with French guests as well as Dutch and Belgian visitors. It’s family-oriented, good value, and especially busy with school groups and university ski trips.
The main hub is La Croisette, a horseshoe-shaped ski front with bars, restaurants, shops and accommodation all around it. Jacks Les Menuires benefits from being right on the piste front, with lots of apartments nearby and a steady flow of ski traffic.
Hotel Grangettes is a 2-star, 28-room hotel in Méribel that can sleep up to 70 guests a night. We sell rooms directly and offer both B&B and half-board stays.
Last winter, the guest experience was improved with a private bar, a refurbished restaurant and a wider dinner menu. Breakfast is served as a continental and hot buffet, so the hotel has a steady, all-round hospitality rhythm.
Staff need to be multi-disciplined to handle reception duties, housekeeping, and breakfast and dinner services. The hotel team works closely with the kitchen team, who are also responsible for Jacks Méribel. The building has a strong team feel!

BIG TEAMS, BIG ENERGY!
Jacks is all about great food, fast service and entertainment that keeps the venue buzzing. We open early for the coffee rush, serve a busy lunch, and then move into afternoon drinks, happy hour and live music.
At lunch, speed matters because guests want to get back on the mountain. Our most popular dishes include homemade sourdough pizzas and our classic burgers (check out the OG Bad Boy Burger on our website).
Things get especially lively once our popular Happy Hour promo and après start (this is where a big-energy team makes a difference)!
Live music runs through the week, the atmosphere gets louder as the day goes on, and the team helps keep the energy up from start to finish. Méribel leans more into the bar feel, while Les Menuires has a stronger dinner and après-ski rhythm.

Galician-influenced cocktails and tapas
Copiña is a small, intimate venue with a Galician-inspired cocktail and tapas concept. It seats around 40 people and stays busy from open to close, so the team is front and centre all night.
Because it’s such a compact space, good banter, confidence and a bit of showmanship all help. The team talks guests through cocktails, wine, craft beer and tapas, so you need to be comfortable chatting, recommending and selling with personality.
The venue runs with a small team, which means everyone plays an important role and quickly becomes part of the soul of the place.

We couldn’t do any of this without the people who join us each season, whether it’s for one winter or many. The best people for us are hardworking, open-minded and up for becoming part of the team, because that’s what the season really is: work, riding, socials and a lot of shared memories.
We try to give back during the season with staff events and rewards, and we spend a lot of time making sure we find the right people for the lifestyle. If you fit the vibe, it can be the craziest and most fun five months you’ll ever have.
